Thanks for hopping through the Use Your Stash Blog hop. Did you arrive from Janet's Blog?
This month, we'll showcase how to use up diecuts in some pretty cool ways.
I used scraps form Babycakes Paper Packet to cut flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge. Lining up a bunch of scraps on my mat, I set the flower to cut at 1.75". After cutting the first one, I hit repeat then cut, repeat-cut, occasionally using my "scooter arrows" to move the blade to a new spot on the papers for a full flower cut.
Some pieces didn't even get a whole flower on them, but that was fine since I'd be cutting hanging over pieces off of my card anyway.
I put adhesive around the edge of my card then stuck the diecuts around, making sure they were layered in sort of an alternating way and not just a cascade from one end to the other. Then I stuck the card in my trimmer and trimmed off the edges.
A quick sentiment in the middle with a teenie little flower and bling, and it was done- VERY quick, and it felt so good to have those scraps used up.
