Floral Happiness SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring March's SOTM, which is Floral Happiness, a set of 16 stamps.  I love the straightforward font used which really lets the elegance of the floral shine.

A simple design sometimes makes a big statement. The painted area has a pearlescent effect which did not totally translate in the photo.

I've used:

Create a shade Pearl Paint (2.95) with Crystal Blue reinker

• Mix 1-1 1/2 Tablespoons of Create-a-Shade Pearl paint with 10-12 drops of reinker
• paint quickly with sponge brush-I needed 2 coats for good coverage
• Let dry almmost completely (I like it when the stamp pulls a bit of paint off with it)
• Stamp with Staz on
• use lots of adhesive to smooth out paper when adhering to mat.

Acrylic Flower from Claire assortment, colored with alcohol marker shown below:

• shake pen before opening
• leave item on backing
• color several layers/coats- letting dry 30 seconds between
• Let dry for 30 minutes before adhering to project
