Use Your Stash Blog Hop: Quilling

What better way to use up scraps than with quilling? Close To My Heart has a quilling tool now which is quite upscale. I'm guessing you've arrived from Cherri's blog and hope you were inspired to quill something soon by her project.

Because I like to make my own quilling strips to match my Close To My Heart projects, I use a manual (NOT crosscut) shredder like this one here on Amazon. Mine is a bit smaller which I bought it 10 years ago. One thing is my cardstock is white core, so I must dunk my twirls in ink or have a whitish edge.

I've used:

  • quilling tool
  • Liquid Glass to adhere
  • Cotton Candy Cardstock+ ink
  • Ponderosa Pine Cardstock+ ink
  • brown opaques pearls
  • For Always Paper (available Feb 1)

  3. This is a beautiful card, and I love how you put the opaques on the flowers to bling them up.
