I've been swept into an alternate scrapping Universe after participating in True Scrap 4 with Lain and the Scrap Happy bunch earlier this Fall. Scrap Happy is a delightful place where Scrapinars, Scrapbook Industry Giants are interviewed, and things like Scrapbook Improv happen frequently.
Beginning February 1, I get to participate in LOAD 213 which stands for LayOut A Day, February 2013. It's 28 days of making a layout per day! Does this sound crazy?
What I'm doing to prepare:
- I'm going to an 8.5x11 page to have less Acreage to cover everyday.
- I've tabbed some Sketches with post-its.
- All my quickie journal stamps and journally things are located in reach.
- I have Cricut Craft Room now for quick Titles, maybe I'll precut a few ahead of time!
- I have photos which will be so happy to have their stories told
- Some of those photos have their own post-it on the back with a story/title idea.
- I'm reading like a mad woman all of these blog posts to get my rear in gear!
I suspect that some people imagine I'm hooked up to a cardstock IV and a Stamp Ventilator while scrapbooking all the time already. This really isn't true. Sure, I'm surrounded by crafting goodness most days, but I do not daily get my mojo on. Certainly, never for 28 days straight!
If you're up to make 28 pages in 28 days, sign up at this link (if spots are still available).
One more thing, since I am a Scrap Happy Community Subscriber, LOAD213 is free to me. Actually, I fell in love with this site so I became a "Lifer" with my subscription forever paid after Lain ran one of her uber cool 12 Days of Christmas specials. I'll have the opportunity to participate in 3 of these puppies in 2013. :)
I'm betting if you hop on board to LOAD213 that Lain will offer some uber cool special for LOAD participants to join the Community after LOAD which would make your next LOAD free. :)

Stay tuned for some of my favorite LOAD213 pages to be here in February. I'll update a few times with any Eureka! items I'm learning along the way on daily scrapbooking in LOAD213.

So jealous -- you sound so in control! Can I be you, Joy? I have GOT to get over and try that Cricut Craft Room!
ReplyDeleteI love the cricut craft room and now I am trying to think if there is a way for me to make some extra space during Load in my tiny cramped area for scrapbooking so that I can have my computer ready to go when I am ready for a title
ReplyDeleteYou cracked me up with the IV/Ventilator comment! Can't wait :~)
